The Lavender Hill Mob is one of the all-time best crime-caper comedies. It was made by the celebrated Ealing Studios, just a few months before the Queen's accession to the throne.
Directed by Charles Crichton, it stars some well-known names from the past, including Alec Guinness, Stanley Holloway, Sid James and John Gregson.
As a special treat, you'll see a scant one-minute appearance by a young Audrey Hepburn. It was enough to be noticed in Hollywood, and the rest is movie history...
